Website design agency

About us

We are Phoenix Road Creative. We’re passionate about building your site to perfectly suit your needs. We work as an extension of your team throughout the entire process, making sure you achieve (or even exceed) your website goals . . . and understand how it works.

A Boutique Marketing &
Website Design Agency

We like to think of ourselves as the “Jerry Maguire” of website design agencies. We’re the boutique agency who cares.

All of our work is done in-house. We do not outsource overseas so there are no big time-zone or language barriers. You can easily communicate with members of our team, not just a sales representative.

THE POWER OF WORDPRESS

We specialize in crafting websites that provide an intuitive platform for creating new pages with the same ease as posting on social media.

Effortless content management is made possible by a custom WordPress theme we have created, complete with a library of reusable content blocks. These blocks can be modified, added, or removed, giving you the flexibility to customize images and text to your liking. Our system ensures that your content is presented in a consistent and professional format.

Our content block system has been optimized to minimize unnecessary code, enhancing your site’s speed. We tailor each site to meet specific requirements, minimizing the use of extraneous code. Our use of cutting-edge code adheres to the latest industry standards, ensuring top-tier security, speed, and minimal maintenance effort.

And, of course, all our sites are built SEO ready to maximize your exposure and resulting traffic!

So, you want to know a little more about the company?

Phoenix Road Creative was founded by a proud card-carrying Gen-Xer named Jennifer Pike. She began her professional career in 1996, when this millennium (and fears of the Y2K bug) were just mere twinkles in her calendar’s eye.

Jennifer started off working for Fox Studios in Los Angeles as an event planner, organizing premiere parties and corporate events for Fox celebrities and executives.

(Fun fact: her office was located in Fox Plaza, a.k.a. Nakatomi Plaza in Die Hard!)

(Less fun fact: Bruce Willis was nowhere to be found in the building . . . not even in the air ducts.)

After Fox, Jennifer went on to work for Los Angeles’ Key Club music venue and also the popular local paper, LA Weekly. There, her marketing work extended beyond events, focusing on the early phases of digital marketing such as eBlasts and websites.

She even became one of the first to use social networking (such as MySpace) to reach out to the public from a business standpoint rather than, say, to send cat memes (although she does still like a good cat meme.)

Her interest in social media and digital design led her to obtain a second degree in web design and development from UCLA. Once graduated, Jennifer returned to Fox, this time as a web developer.

As the latest among the women in tech, she would then go on to build websites for other companies like Joico, Sainsburys, Which? Publications, and Molton Brown.

Wanna be startin' somethin'

Jennifer Pike moved to London and, in 2016, combined her marketing, design, and development skills for her new company. She founded the female-fronted marketing and web design agency Phoenix Road Creative. The company’s mission? To build your brand through great websites and innovating marketing.
