Happy Hour: The Coffee Cocktail

coffee cocktails

As a Generation X woman who is still young at heart (despite wanting my couch and Netflix by 10pm), I may have found my new salvation in the coffee cocktail. I can hold a fancy-looking drink in my hand that will keep me awake and help avoid hangover. Guaranteed to keep anyone up for a social event in a much more healthy way than drugs or alcohol, the coffee cocktail is your friend. Maybe not the exact picture of health but then again neither is this blog. 😉

While the ever popular expresso martini will send you over the edge, coffee liqueur cocktails in general contain a lower alcohol content. Find the right mixologist and you can even sip a tasty non-alcoholic version.

Whether it’s a caffeinated cocktail or a mocktail you prefer, below is a list of some of the yummiest looking coffee treats I’ve seen lately.
